OUR BODIES ARE OUR GARDENS

Resident Tee Nerd Statement
"To tee or not to tee: that is a pretty obvious question, what with this design being epic." -Hamlet
Welcome back, Chris! What's new in the Dixon world?
Not much is happening in the real world. In the tee world, I've been getting a little more exposure. Since my last print here, I've finally managed a print at Threadless and I will have another coming soon.
This design is based on a Shakespeare quote. What inspired you about the quote, and what is your favorite Shakespeare play?
I must have read through a hundred Shakespeare quotes and this one jumped out at me and I instantly had this design in my head. While I'm not well-versed (pun unintended) in much of his work, I did enjoy Julius Caesar in high school.
With your day job and your family, it must be difficult to balance being such a bad-ass tee designer. How do you make the time for your freelance design?
My wife really keeps me on task. I'd probably only do one tee a month if she didn't crack the whip. It's weird. It's hard for me to get started on a design, but once I'm in a groove it's really hard to stop. I'll design most of the night if a design is really coming together.
It must be pretty swank to be able to afford landscapers to tend to your organ shaped gardens. If you could have any one pointless luxury such as that, what would you choose?
It would be nice to have someone around to rake and scrub the area south of the maze. In all seriousness, I'd love to have a milk and banana delivery service. I swear we're at the store every other day for those two items alone.
Favorite shirt trend in 3... 2... 1...
Since I've been guilty of it on a few occasions: Umbrellas.
Having now printed at a good number of the tee world's finest, you've been exposed to some of the best and brightest. If you could collaborate with a shirt superstar, who would you pick and why?
Probably AlexMDC. He's on another level, skill-wise, and it would be nice to take a peak at how he got to that level. I feel I'd be able to improve my process just by working with him.
Any final words?
Thanks to Adder for hitting me up for this limited and thanks to Tilteed for consistently trying to take my money by printing badass shirts.

I like this tee because my liver is also green and spotty.
