Hey Zack! What have you been up to since we last saw you here with The Twilight Rider?

I'm enjoying my summer so far. I've been getting outdoors lately and going on some hikes around my area. I also started experimenting with photo collage and finally got around to using my old film camera. Hopefully I'll be able to produce some interesting traditional works and take a break from the digital stuff for a while.

Tell us about Neon Space Knight!

Well, I love neon colors, I love space and I love knights. Combine all three and you've got yourself a pretty rad lookin' drawing!

Who are some of your favorite artists?

Enoch Bolles, Gil Elvgren, Charley Harper, Mary Blair, Eyvind Earle, Georges Braque, Ed Ruscha…the list goes on!

Capri Sun or Kool-Aid?

I'm a Capri Sun kinda guy. It's portable, it comes with its own straw and, in a pinch, can be used as an improvised hacky-sack.

If you were a color, what would that color be?

Probably some kind of tinted blueish-green. I tend to use similar colors like that when I paint.

If you had to live the life of a TV or movie character for a week, who would it be and why?

Ralph Meeker's character, Mike Hammer, from Kiss Me Deadly. He's a bad-ass private eye and has one of the coolest ultra-modern bachelor pads in movie history.
