Tell us a little bit more about the inspiration for this design.

Well, I teach English to Spanish kids so a lot of my design ideas come from play on words. For this one, we were doing a worksheet on idioms and I actually sketched this in the classroom while they were working, don´t tell my boss. The guy was based on my doctor when I was young who actually had a big white moustache and monacle. His moustache didn´t rain though.

Are there any projects you’re working on right now that you’re excited about?

I have one on the go which I had the concept for and I am working on it with a few people but I want to keep it hush hush for now. Other than that I´m working on the usual stuff for bands and invitations etc for my upcoming wedding in the new year.

What artist/designer do you want to see blow up (as in get popular, not explode)?

Hmm that´s a hard one because there are so many. Basically anyone who is keeping to their principles and playing fair with other artists and charging a fair price. There are so many out there right now under cutting the rest of us (they can explode). I really would like to see Kevvbo getting more exposure. Really nice guy and great artist.  http://kevvbo.com/

Describe a favorite t-shirt of yours.

I have a tee from the band A Jealous Sound that is really simple and just has their name and three circles below it on a dark blue tee. I have worn it so much that it has just turned into one of those really comfy t shirts to chuck on at any time that goes with anything else.

There is an ant in Brazil that has a gland which causes the ant to explode like a bomb, spraying a sticky toxic goo on everybody nearby. Mind blowing!
