Joy Ride by the amazingly talented and clever Greg Abbott, is a 4 color print on a grass American Apparel t-shirt.

TILTEED: Greg Abbott
Tell us a little bit more about this design.
I wanted to create a piece that incorporated a view from above, negative space and perspective. I drew the opening in the trees first and then came back to it later on once I had an interesting idea for the subject matter.

I think the question that everybody is really wondering is - when did you perfect cloning technology? As that seems to be the only possible way that a designer could be as prolific as you are.
I have not perfected cloning technology nor my workflow but do design full time. I usually design from 8-6 on weekdays and am always finding more efficient ways of getting things done.
When you’re not drawing/illustrating/designing, what do you do with yourself?
I watch a lot of movies and follow a lot of TV shows. I play guitar and write / record music. I spend a lot of time listening to and collecting music.

Are there any other projects besides t-shirts that you’re currently working on that you are really excited about?
I’m currently finishing off my first piece of album art for the band Phone Trio, I’m really excited about that and am looking forward to showing it to some people. I have also written a children’s book which I hope to illustrate before the year is out.
If we ran into you (or one of your clones) on the street, would you be wearing a Greg Abbott t-shirt or another designers?
I would most likely be wearing a plain white t-shirt.
