Where did you get the idea for “RGBeasts”?

I had been playing a lot of Spore, and enjoyed mixing and matching creatures.  Decided to do a triptych with 3 different creatures in 3 different environments that lined up.  Eventually, another shirt site held a contest for a dinosaur themed tee design so I made some changes to 2 of the creatures, to better fit, and what you see here is how it eventually turned out.

Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I am a 25 year old freelance designer from Vermont.  Grew up just outside of Montpelier where Frank Miller is from. That always inspired me to get into comic books but I somehow ended up in t-shirts and I’ve been enjoying that (most of the time) for about 4 years now.  I love buffalo wings and the color green.

What are your favorite things to do in your free time?

I don’t have any free time.  Freelancing in VT is more than a full time job.  Yes, I realize that’s like saying I give 110%, but I just mean that I work constantly, well beyond 40 hours a week.  If I did have free time I would play a lot of mini golf.

So I’ve always been curious… What do Toony Fish taste like?

Tofu.  But with more flavor, though that isn’t saying much.

If you could have dinner with three people (dead, living, or fictional), who would they be and why?

I hate having dinner with people.  It always seems like it will be better than it is.  You have to make a choice between enjoying your meal while its hot or having a conversation.  It’s not polite to talk with your mouth full so there’s no way to compromise either.
