PINKERTON
Tee Artist: cmdixon2
Hey Chris! Welcome to Tilteed. Please introduce yourself to the class.
I am 29 years old. I live in Indiana with my wife and 2 kids and work as a graphic/web designer at a small web marketing firm.
Pinkerton is a seriously awesome graphic tee, but what does it all mean?
It was originally done with “Madness” in mind and it portrays a businessman going through his life as a drone despite the dangers and pitfalls around him. Mindless, oblivious and ruled by the orders he’s given.
When you’re stressed out like this guy, what is the ultimate way to relax?
I’ve become a big fan of ping pong since we got a table at work. And I watch more TV than I care to admit. Especially “It’s Always Sunny In Philidelphia” which I regularly reference in everyday conversations. “AYOOOOHHHH!” ...sorry.
Walking a tightrope is pretty impressive. What is your favorite circus act?
I have a soft spot for juggling since I know how to, but I actually think that high-wire acts are amazing.
What are some influences your art has that we might not expect, and what about them strikes you most?
That’s a tough one. I’m really influenced by anything and everything. I try not to limit myself to any specific areas of art as far as influence goes. Even my 5-year-old daughter’s pictures influence me. She’s amazing.
Where can fans keep track of you?
I have a little website that I put together after leaving my old host. Unfortunately I tend to neglect it. I hope to find time soon to redo it the right way.

I think Tilteed is the perfect home for Pinkerton. You guys did a great job printing it the first time around and I’m excited to see it back again. Thanks guys!! I’l make sure to alert those who may be interested to see it available again.

Congrats, Chris! If I hadn’t bought it last time, I definitely be buying on now. The shirt really looks amazing.
As for bringing back old shirts, I’d kill for Hermes. I was at a conference and missed it last it printed, and it made me very very very sad.

Speaking of old shirts, I’d love a chance to buy Dream Bot. My wife has always regretted not buying that one.

Good to see this has a permanent home. The colours are stunning and I only just noticed the sinister figures for the first time. Adds an extra dimension to the shirt.

Congrats, Chris! This is so deserving of a catalog print.

Hope you reprint this again. Missed it this time. Apparently, marking shirts down to $10 makes them sell out really fast! Would love to see the “diving helmet businessman” design on a shirt.

You spoke, we listened! We’re going to try to bring back some of the most popular Limited Tees from the past - just in case you missed out
