Welcome to Tilteed, Jack! For the fans out there, tell us a little bit more Jack Malster.

Thanks guys.  I've been designing graphics for around 3 years.  When I left uni, after studying fine art, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do.  I was always interested in apparel graphics, so I started emailing bands and record labels asking if they needed shirt designs.  After a few months I got picked up by some of the bigger merch companies and now do a lot of work with clothing lines in the music and sports industries.  Over the past few years I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing clients and love working for myself!

Tell us a little bit more about the inspiration for this piece.

I wanted to do a piece in just black and white, something that stands out.  In my fine art pieces I tend to draw with a lot of detail, so I wanted to do something alot simpler, inspired by comic book art.

We know you've had the opportunity to work with some awesome brands and bands. What recent project or client has really stood out for you?

I love working with Atticus.  They always have great ideas and briefs and I like designing for a company that I'm a big fan of, I wear their clothes myself.  Plus, it's great walking into a shop and seeing your design hanging up or flicking through a website and seeing a musician wearing your design.

Your favorite movie of all time and why?

I could pick something deep and meaningful here, but I've got to be serious and choose Starship Troopers.  I've got it on VHS, DVD, and Blu-Ray!  I think it's because it's the first scary-ish film that I watched when I was younger and it's just stuck with me.  Also, the effects still hold up now, I love it!

If you had a pet unicorn, what would his/her name be?

Hmm, that's a hard one.  I was a huge fan of Transformers when I was growing up, so I'd do a little switcheroo with the letters and call it Unicron after Unicron, the God of Darkness.

For those keeping tabs, where can fans go to stay up to date with what you're doing?

I don't have a blog, but please check out my site at http://www.eyeforillustration.com for some of my recent work.  If your ever in the market for shirt designs and you like my style, just shoot me an email and we can work something out!

Anything else you'd like to say or share?

I'd just like to say thanks to Tilteed for accepting my design and I can't wait to see it printed!
