“Big Energy doesn’t want the public to know it, but just a single fish on a bicycle can power an entire island for pennies a day! We’re welcoming BootsBoots back to Tilteed today with a fun design which most of you may not remember, but we hope all of you will fall in love with.”
This is a 4 color print on a Navy American Apparel t-shirt.

TILTEED: BootsBoots
You’ve been printed here before. Is there anything we should know about you or this piece that we don’t already know?
It’s one of the first t-shirt designs that I created. Ever. I cleaned it up a little bit to get it to where it is now. It was a little crude, but it cleaned up well. It’s my little Eliza Doolittle.
Between this print and Three-Step Plan, it’s obvious you’re a forward-thinking problem-solver. What other issues are you working on solving by help of small animals?
Funny. No, actually the animals are just a fantasy of mine; they could never solve our problems. We need to enslave small Asian children if we’re really going to get anything done.

So, the world wants to know once and for all: what style of bootsboots do you preferprefer? uggzuggz? Docdoc Martinsmartins?
Motormotorcyclecycle.
If we can be serious for a second, let’s talk influences. What and who inspires you, and is there any influence we’d be surprised by?
When I was little, I learned to draw by copying Dr Seuss books, Salvador Dali calendars, and Garfield comic strips. Surprise! ...actually, I don’t think that’s very surprising for anyone that’s seen my artwork.

I know art isn’t your only passion. Please list your favorite book, film, and CD, and if you could branch out into one of those fields, which would it be?
I have a bunch of favorites, but here are some that I like:
Book: Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy
Film: Welcome to the Dollhouse
CD: The Bastard Fairies are the latest band that I’ve found out I like.
As to part two of the question: I wanted to be an actress for a long time. I only became an artist when I switched my college major from theater to art because it was easier and I was lazy.

Any links you’d like to include, or projects you’re working on?
There’s my website with some more of my designs: http://www.jamiemelanimarshall.com/aforsale.html
Oh! And I’ve started an advice blog. Please send in questions (serious or not. it’s a funny blog): http://www.dangerousadvice.blogspot.com/
Any last words for the world of Tilteed?
And there ain’t no nothing we can’t love each other through (ooh!)
What would we do, baby, without us?

WOW!!!
that is brilliant, Boots! This looks way better than I remember seeing it - I may buy two!
great job Boots and Tilteed!
We are so excited to have Boots back on Tilteed. Especially with this tee! If you didn’t see her first tee, check it out: Three Step Plan
hoorah!
And yeah, Jestik, she cleaned it up for us. This is one of my fave boots tees, so I’m stoked to get a copy.
I did some cleaning, yeah. I second the hoorah! Hoorah to Tilteed! I hope everyone enjoys this design as much as Adder.
This is such a creative design, Boots!
Yes indeed. You’ve really done it this time, Tilteed guys. Great choice of design to print. I’m going to feel so good wearing this shirt, BootsBoots. This design is right down my alley. I really admire your work on this. I’ll be adding it to your stuff in my artist/designer files. A fine addition to your porfolio, I must say. Please keep ‘em comin’!
I am so crazy in love with this design. Fantastic work, Boots!
Tilteed is getting all my shirt money lately. Good stuffs.
@spastastic & twilshire, keep checking us out. We’ve got a lot of awesome stuff rolling out during the rest of this month that you may not have seen and yet may love. Just obviously, with J and I both curating here, we’re gonna have an easy time bringing in the woot names early on.
Congrats on this printing, bootsy… I’ve been kinda busy this weekend, but I wanted to make sure you knew I fully support this design as well :D
Looks good.
